This website is operated by North Star Advisory Group Ltd ("we", "us", "our"), a company registered in England & Wales (Company No. 17259188). We are the data controller for personal data collected through this site. You can reach us at phil@northstaradvisorygroup.co.uk.

What we collect

• Information you give us: when you submit the contact form, subscribe, or request a resource, we collect your name, company, email address and any message you send.
• Booking information: if you book a call, our scheduling provider (Calendly) collects the details you enter to arrange the meeting.
• Usage data: we use privacy-friendly, aggregate analytics that do not identify you individually.

How we use it

• To respond to your enquiry and provide the services or resources you request.
• To arrange and hold calls or meetings you book.
• To send you occasional updates if you have asked to receive them (you can opt out at any time).
• To understand, in aggregate, how the site is used so we can improve it.

Our lawful bases are your consent (e.g. subscribing), and our legitimate interests in responding to enquiries and running our business.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your data. We use a small number of trusted processors to run this site and our business:

• Netlify: website hosting and form submissions.
• Calendly: call scheduling.
• Plausible Analytics: privacy-friendly, cookieless website analytics.

Cookies

We keep cookies to a minimum:

• Analytics: we use Plausible, which is cookieless and collects no personal data.
• Scheduling: Calendly may set cookies when you open the booking widget to enable scheduling.
• Preferences: we store a single value in your browser to remember that you've seen our cookie notice.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some features (such as booking) may not work as well if you do.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry and contact data only as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and for our legitimate business records, after which it is deleted.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal data, and to object to processing or withdraw consent. To exercise any of these, email phil@northstaradvisorygroup.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
